G5/LYNX CHAIN CASE RETAINER W/ SPEED SENSOR – CHAIN CASE OIL KIT (CHAIN CASE ONLY)
Drive shaft retainer plug with speed sensor used to eliminate slop in the OEM quick release 2 piece hub on the new Ski doo G5 driveshaft.
***This retainer is for Skidoo G5 with Chaincase only. TKI G5 Belt Drive does come with the appropriate retainer for the belt drive application.
This kit also includes chain case oil!
- comes in a 10 oz bottle *** see below about the 10 oz oil
- provides low non-channeling point
- non-foaming
- water resistant
- contains cushioning additives.
TKI prefers this oil over others because of its high viscosity.
The higher viscosity causes the oil to stick to the chain and the gears better, resulting in less friction.
***A 10 ounce bottle instead of 12 ounce is provided because
10 oz is only needed, if you put 12 into the case even with the skidoo oil it will push out the extra 2 oz. We have let cases sit over the summer and drained the oil, almost everyone ends up with only 10 oz.
The oil we use is far superior to the skidoo oil. Our oil has more molly in it, it also sticks and conditions the metal in the gears. After sitting all summer if you pull the case cover the gears are still coated in the red oil.
