Really bummed that they race was cancelled this year. We are already entered for next years race, hopping for a normal winter next year. Only good thing is we have a year to get better prepared.

Still have some details to work on but we are getting there.
We already installed our Grip N Rip Racing Upper A Arm brace kit, Lower Rear A Arm brace kit and now we have a new brace to strengthen the third weak point that the suspension module can bend. We’ve had this brace for some time but wasn’t 100% sure it was required. Now that the XP is on it’s 3rd season we’ve seen a certain impact shift the front of the suspension module to the side. Our new brace bridges the suspension module and ties into our lower rear A Arm brace, greatly strengthens the suspension module and avoids an expensive repair.
Will be available for sale soon.

Raffi from RMP Composites makes the toughest skid plate for the Skidoo XP and XR. Last year in Cain’s Quest we ran these skid plates and would never run this race without them. We bounced off countless rocks in the race and the skid plates protected our sleds from damage. The brake area and chaincase areas are vulnerable as is the suspension module. Raffi made changes to the angles on the front skid plate to make it even better than last year. Feel very confident that we can pound these sleds thru all the rocks in the race without a problem. Highly recommend the RPM Composite skid plate for off trail riding, it’s like armor for your sled.

Here is a map of the general race route.

The race site is: http://www.cainsquest.com/english.php Here you can check racer profiles, race updates, and track the race in realtime.
This years race will be nearly 1600 miles long with 3 mandatory layovers of only 30 total hours.
We’ve been busy getting our sleds ready for the race. Just a couple of pics from the other night. Getting ready to try a different track in these pics.

Our two top sponsors this year are Extreme Sports Network of Europe and PPG Industries.

We would also like to recognize Mission Trailers, Jackman Power Sports, Ski-Doo and Riendeau & Sons. Without the help of these companies we would not be able to compete at a high level in this years race.
Ice Age helped us out with some custom rails for our race sleds. Sent them our stock rail and they worked off that with some changes that we wanted. The skid isn’t done yet, still some more work to do to it and will install our Custom Axis shocks setup by Hygear later on.

Also added our Grip N Rip Racing billet rear axle wheel spacers to replace the stock plastic ones for a stronger rear axle setup.

Not going to like me for putting this picture in here. haha
Notice the lack of snow this year.
